NPsych was established in 2010 with a view to providing high quality and evidence based neuropsychological rehabilitation to individuals and their families following an acquired brain injury. We aim to offer a personalised and high quality service to all our clients. NPsych has several services to offer clients across the UK, including:
We work with clients across London, the East and South East in their own homes and communities. We are committed to working collaboratively with our clients to help them adjust to their lives following brain injury and maximise their potential through goal-focussed rehabilitation.
Our people
Our team of professionals is key to achieving the best possible rehabilitation outcomes. We adhere to a set of values based on trust, respect, honesty and excellence, and our team has created an environment of commitment and compassion for all. Our client-centred model of care underlies all our systems and processes, which are designed to deliver exceptional standards of support. Our clinicians are all Registered Clinical Psychologists with the Health and Care Professionals Council and Chartered Clinical Psychologists with the British Psychological Society, meeting specified standards of competence and ethical practice. We all have professional indemnity insurance and enhanced CRB checks enabling us to work with vulnerable children and adults.
We deliver neuropsychological interventions to our clients that are uniquely tailored to each individual’s needs, taking into account the very best of the evidence-based practice available alongside a pragmatic approach to the particular challenges and strengths of the individual.
Interventions are usually multi-disciplinary and therefore require a high level of co-ordinated input. In particular we draw together information from our own detailed assessments and those of others to understand the effects of changes in cognition, behaviour and emotion. We then lead interventions aimed at working toward client led goals.

Currently we provide neuropsychology services to a number of residential and supported living services. This involves input to the multi-disciplinary team meetings, completing assessments, writing guidelines and providing individual interventions. We are also able to provide assistant psychology input for those services looking for a more intensive neuropsychological approach.
Our clinicians are experienced in the provision of high quality neuropsychological assessments. We use the most up-to-date psychometric assessment tools, combined with our knowledge of the evolving evidence base and our own experience over the years as treating clinicians in medico-legal cases.
Our knowledge and expertise relating to changes in cognition following acquired brain injury means we are ideally qualified to provide particular expertise in the assessment of capacity.

In addition to the high level of academic qualifications we require from our clinicians, we ensure we remain up to date with the best research though our in house research as well as regularly attending training courses and conferences in the field.
Our highly qualified clinicians have extensive experience of providing tailored support to individuals adjusting to life with a brain injury.
Our team regularly meet for individual and group peer supervision to ensure our cases are benefiting from our shared knowledge and support.
